“First of all, the Big Bang wasn't very big. Second of all, there was no bang. Third, Big Bang Theory doesn't tell you what banged, when it banged, how it banged. It just said it did bang. So the Big Bang theory in some sense is a total misnomer.”
– Michio Kaku
PREFACE
Welcome Everybody!
“Once, there was an infinite entity called The Singularity. It had always existed and always was. Being beyond the foundation of time and space, It held within Itself the potential for all physical and nonphysical reality. The imperceptible seed of the entire universe; waiting to explode into actuality. Suddenly, without warning, It releases Itself into the cosmos, forever expanding and permeating all Creation. In an instantaneous spark of Transcendent Will all that is, was. And the Big Bang was the first day.”
– Frank Elkins, The Enigmatic Mystery
The Big Bang represents the expansion of pure energy, or light, manifesting the laws of physics into what we recognize as the universe. The key to understanding the Big Bang, Relativity Theory, and Quantum Mechanics is light. There is no duality in the infinite potential possibility of light, or Quantum Reality.
“There is no dualism in the world of light.
The conventions of relativity say that time slows down as one approaches the speed of light, but if one tries to imagine the point of view of a thing made of light, one must realize that what is never mentioned is that if one moves at the speed of light there is no time whatsoever...
One exists in eternity, one has become eternal...
One is then apart from the moving image; one exists in the completion of eternity."
– Terrence McKenna
Understanding modern science, begins with understanding the nature of light. Understanding the nature of light begins with understanding the scientific explanation for how the universe began called the Big Bang Theory.
CONSIDERATION #172 – The Scientific Explanation: Part One
“As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain, and as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality.”
– Albert Einstein
The Big Bang
Science doesn’t tell us why the Big Bang happened. It doesn’t tell us anything about what happened before the event itself. It also doesn’t tell us how the singularity occurred in the “first” place or why it “decided” to explode “when” it did. Science tells us one thing: there is objective empirical evidence, based on Einstein’s theories of relativity, that it did occur. So, what exactly is the Big Bang?
The Big Bang theory is currently the most widely accepted scientific theory regarding the creation of the universe. According to this theory, approximately 13.7 billion years ago, the universe consisted of an extremely hot and infinitely dense point ranging in size from zero to a small grain of rice called a singularity. Think of a supercharged black hole. For some reason unknown to science, this singularity violently exploded thereby manifesting all energy, matter, space, and time into existence as the universe. This initial explosion is called the Big Bang.
“…the singularity ‘instantaneously’ increased from the size of an atom to the size of a grapefruit.”
According to science, the Big Bang represents the beginning of our physical and non-physical reality, as well as the beginning of time. More of a “rapid expansion” than a Big Bang, the singularity “instantaneously” increased from the size of an atom to the size of a grapefruit. However, within this softball sized expansion of potentiality resided the entire universe and the laws of physics that would dictate its manifestation and preservation.
Prior to the Big Bang the physical universe did not exist; it existed only as a potentiality within the singularity until it “exploded” or “expanded” itself into actuality. Prior to, and immediately after the Big Bang, the “laws of physics” did not exist. If we run the math in Einstein’s theories of relativity backwards, we eventually reach a point just before this event occurs. However, beyond this point the laws of relativity disappear, no longer applicable in the chaotic environment of pure energy, or light. Only the laws of quantum mechanics can explain this non-physical state of existence, and only until the atoms themselves break down at the very end.
It is suspected that at that point, the entire universe would once again become a singularity, existing outside the bounds of any scientific understanding. However, there is not, as yet, any objective scientific evidence to “prove” the actual reconstitution of the original singularity. Although logic and mathematics tend to lean in that direction at this time.
“There are two essential stages in the manifestation of the universe…”
How exactly did this theoretical abstraction called a singularity create the reality we now know as the universe? What was the process of manifesting space, time, matter, gravity, consciousness and life? There are two essential stages in the manifestation of the universe relating to the nature of physical and non-physical properties: The Radiation Era and the Matter Era.
Here’s how it works.
POSTSCRIPT
The Big Bang Theory, despite its emerging problems, is the foundational principle in both relativity theory and quantum mechanics. However, what this theory ultimately brings us is an incongruent reality based on two independent and unique expressions of science: one related to the physical manifestation resulting from atomic particles and waves, and another related to the infinite, or quantum, potential of those universal constituents in terms of empirical reality.
The Big Bang is a result of quantum potential; the universe is a result of the empirical manifestation of that infinite potential. In the wink of any eye the reality of the universe actualized itself from a potential quantum possibility into a physical empirical reality. Bang!
Next week we will consider the first era of this new expanding universe, the Radiation Era…

Unique Content Makes Untangling the Knots of Reality “One of the Best Podcasts about History!”
“…this unique Substack podcast by FRANK ELKINS is not strictly speaking history. It is a strange mix of history, philosophy, theology, spirituality, physics, and astronomy… today scientists like to divide our world into subjects, and these subjects into niches. Yet, the world we live in is just one, and we strive to comprehend it as it is. Try this podcast for a start.”

Excerpt From This Week’s “Reality by a Thread” (Eastern Rationalism)
“Eastern philosophy recognizes a reality, or cause, from which our reality was generated. However, they also recognize that the ‘eternal Tao’ cannot be empirically identified, or ‘named.’ (Much like the Jewish concept of Yahweh) Anything that can be ‘individually’ identified is not the ‘eternal’ Tao. However, it is from this unknowable mystery that the rational and physical universe, or reality, was generated; ‘The nameless is the beginning of heaven and earth.’”
