PREFACE
Welcome Everybody!
I don’t think of this consideration as “the answer” to the deep questions regarding the complexity related to the forgiveness of sins and the miracles of Jesus as recorded in the New Testament; just one possible consideration of one possible answer to such questions. One possible facet of a multifaceted experience. One possible quantum explanation for how something like this could have occured.
Much like Einstein used “thought experiments” in regard to physics, this might be considered a “thought experiment” in regard to metaphysics. It reflects another possible connection to science and religion that focuses on the enigmatic mystery at the center of both.
It is not a new kind of dogma, just a possible new perception regarding the miracles of Jesus as we begin to consider them in the weekly newsletter; a novel empirical resolution given the rational nature of quantum mechanics. I’m not trying change your personal beliefs about this topic, it’s just a unique consideration that came to me after hearing about the possibility that all of our actions are being recorded by the universe!
So, have fun…
CONSIDERATION #111 – QUANTUM MIRACLES: The Forgiveness of Sins
The two key factors making the miracles of Jesus possible in the New Testament center around faith and the forgiveness of sins. In fact, it is not Jesus’ ability to do miracles that upsets the Jewish leaders, so much as it is his claim to “forgive sins.” This is the real miracle of Jesus.
In addition, the Jewish leaders consistently retort that “only God” can forgive sins. It is a “divine” power. So, what exactly does it mean to forgive sins?
“When Jesus saw their faith, he said, ‘Friend, your sins are forgiven.’
The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves, ‘Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?’
Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, ‘Why are you thinking these things in your hearts? Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.’ So he said to the paralyzed man, ‘I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.’ Immediately he stood up in front of them, took what he had been lying on and went home praising God. Everyone was amazed…”
Luke 5:20-26
If we consider that “sinful actions” manifest gravitational waves as a consequence of those actions; they are “real” in the empirical world. However, if like sound waves, those waves could be altered, or edited, the consequences of those actions would also be altered or edited.
In this sense, a sinful action could be forgiven because after the alteration it essentially did not occur; there is no longer a sin to forgive. It has been “cut,” or “erased,“ from the record, or perhaps, “a” record. Is there a possible quantum mechanism for such a process?
According to quantum mechanics, there may be several…
POSTSCRIPT
All physicality is a consequence of previous physicality. Therefore, at some level, all infirmities have a “cause,” just as all actions have a “consequence.” It could be argued that Jesus did not “physically” heal anyone; he edited, or altered, the previously recorded actions, or waves, thus changing their inevitable consequences.
But this requires permission and cooperation from the person involved in the process. Jesus could not manifest this process alone; it required a consciousness he called “faith” from the individual involved in the process if a “miracle” was to take place.
“And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.”
Matthew 13:58
The ultimate consequence of this process called “forgiving sins” is a transition from the dimension of the empirical experience of sin to a rational dimension Jesus called the Kingdom of Heaven. This is not a process of “healing,” it is a process of transforming reality at the quantum level of existence.
The person who is “healed” has actually been transcended from the “physical world of mankind” to the rational Kingdom of Heaven; however, the people around that person have not, including the Jewish leaders. Since the consequences of sin, or physical actions, are no longer relevant in the Kingdom of Heaven they are no longer manifested and the infirmity disappears from an empirical perspective. A miracle.
However, from a rational perspective, in the dimension Jesus calls the Kingdom of Heaven, the sin never occurred; it was “forgiven.” Therefore, there is no consequence or infirmity because there is no longer a record of this action in the universe.
In this sense, Jesus acts as a “catalyst” for those with the appropriate level of consciousness (faith) needed to transform their “empirical” experience of reality into a “rational” experience of reality that Jesus called the Kingdom of Heaven; where the gravitational waves of physically manifested sin have been erased.
According to String Theory there are from 10 to 26 alternate dimensions of reality beyond ours. Since a completely “rational” dimension would require no extension, it would require no space. It is also possible that these dimensions might overlap and influence each other in ways we do not yet understand. Could the reality Jesus called “The Kingdom of Heaven” actually be related to one of these alternate quantum dimensions?
Next week we will consider some of the quantum theories connected to possible parallel universes and alternate dimensions…

•UNTANGLING THE KNOTS OF REALITY: Welcome to a Special Holiday Edition Podcast – Part Two: It’s A Wonderful Podcast! “Untangling Nurture, Nature, and Unanswered Prayers.”
Do human beings have free-will, or are all of our actions predetermined? Is there an inherent sacrifice in choosing to do the right thing? Does God listen to, and answer prayers? How do unanswered prayers often make our lives better? These are a few of the knots we will attempt to untangle in today’s special re-podcast. That’s a lot of holiday considerations for one podcast! That’s why there are two parts for this Special Holiday Edition! So, let’s get started…
• REALITY BY A THREAD: Book VI Preview (The Rational Being )
“We know the influence behind digital evolution; us. However, we are less confident about our own conscious evolution. Did we evolve on our own, or, like digital intelligence, were we programed to evolve this way? We say that ‘nature’ evolved this way, but what does that actually mean? The question as to how human consciousness evolved from extremely simple to extremely complex is still a mystery. Where does ‘our’ a priori knowledge and reason come from? Once we impart it to the Rational Being what will this new Digital Intelligence do with it?”
